Enhanced UV properties for TOXFREE® RZ1-K cable
The Toxfree® RZ1-K (AS) cable now has greatly improved ultraviolet (UV) radiation properties, according to the UNE 211605 climatic test. Due to its design the Toxfree® RZ1-K (AS) is a flexible and easy to handle cable, which guarantees maximum performance and safety in electrical installations in public areas.
DESIGN:
1 – Electrolytic annealed copper conductor, class 5 (flexible).
2 – Cross-linked polyethylene type XLPE.
3 – Low Smoke Halogen Free (LSZH) polyolefin outer sheath, type ST8.
WEATHER AND UV-RESISTANT OUTER SHEATH
The outer sheath, with improved ultraviolet radiation properties, gives this cable excellent weather resistance, allowing it to be installed outdoors without affecting its service life.

The CPR classification of this cable is B2ca-s1a, d1, a1, according to European standard EN 50575. Certain cross-sections are classified as Cca-s1a, d1, a1.
