Top Cable installs one of Europe’s largest EV charging points in its offices
Top Cable, a leading provider of electrical infrastructure, has installed 158 EV charging points at its Barcelona headquarters, making it one of the largest installations of its kind in Europe.

As the adoption of electric vehicles increases, so will the demand for charging stations. Businesses, municipalities, shopping centres, universities, etc. will need to rethink their electrical infrastructure to accommodate the EV charging needs of employees and customers.
Top Cable, following its #movingreen sustainability plan and faithful to its objective of replacing fossil energy with renewable energy consumption, has inaugurated one of the most representative EV charging points in Europe at its headquarters in Rubí (Barcelona). The facility has a photovoltaic pergola under which 234 parking spaces have been provided, 158 of which are EV charging points.
The charging stations, compatible with all types of electric vehicles, have an individual power of 7.2 KW and are equipped with the latest technology, enabling fast and efficient charging for Top Cable employees and partners.
In environmental terms, the annual CO2 potencial savings are estimated at 540 Tn of CO2/year.
