POWERFLEX® RV-K, the cable that solves any curve in the routing with its high flexibility

The POWERFLEX® RV-K cable is a flexible power cable designed to circumvent the difficulties of complex installation layouts. Moreover, thanks to the design of its materials, it can be installed in all types of environmental conditions (wet and dry areas, outdoors, buried and even submerged in water).

DESIGN:

1 – Electrolytic annealed copper conductor, class 5 (flexible) .

2 – Cross-linked polyethylene insulation type DIX-3 and flexible (XLPE).

3 – Flexible PVC outer sheat type DMV-18 and ST2.

DESIGNED TO MAKE THE INSTALLER’S LIFE EASIER

POWERFLEX® RV-K is an ultra-flexible power cable designed to meet the most demanding industrial requirements. Its great flexibility is great news for installers, who will find it simplifies their work when installing the cable in complex layouts.

This ease of installation not only influences the work of the technician carrying out the work, the flexibility of the cable also minimises the costs of the project, as the flexibility of the cable will save a lot of time spent on the project and consequently reduce the cost of labour. This advantage is particularly noticeable in large cable cross-sections, e.g. 4×150 mm2 cables.

Also noteworthy is its ability to not crack under vibration due to its flexible copper conductors.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Above all, the cable stands out for its extreme flexibility, but beyond that, it has other very interesting technical features for installation, such as a higher thermoelectric capacity of its conductor compared to other PVC-insulated conductors.
